DR RACHEL ARMSTRONG
Rachel Armstrong is a Senior TED Fellow, a Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture & Construction, The University of Greenwich and co-Director of the architectural research group AVATAR (Advanced Virtual And Technological Architectural Research). She is also a Visiting Research Assistant at the Centre for Fundamental Living Technology at the Southern University of Denmark and a qualified medical doctor. Her research investigates the application and impact of Living materials in the built environment where sustainable development results from buildings being connected to nature through evolvable cycles of chemical exchange, rather than separate from it.
